Area of Expertise: Math and Physics

Rani is a high school math teacher and experienced tutor with nearly a decade of success helping students thrive in math and physics. His approach goes beyond just getting through homework or preparing for a test; he focuses on building confidence, independence, and a deeper understanding of the material. With experience teaching everything from middle school math to AP Calculus and AP Physics, Rani knows how to meet each student where they are and help them grow.

At the beginning of each tutoring relationship, Rani takes time to understand the student’s goals and how they want to feel about learning, whether that’s more confident, curious, or less anxious. He uses this insight to plan personalized sessions that fit the student’s learning style. Some students benefit from structured reviews, while others need space to ask questions freely. Rani adapts his lessons to ensure every student feels supported and challenged in the right way.

Rani also brings a strong background in education research and data analysis. He’s worked on large-scale projects focused on improving student outcomes and even co-founded a nonprofit to teach students about AI in fun, creative ways. His passion for student-centered learning shows in everything he does.

Outside of tutoring, Rani enjoys running, cooking, and singing. He brings warmth, curiosity, and care into every session, helping students not just do better in school, but truly enjoy learning.
