Megan is a passionate and dedicated tutor who believes that learning should be personalized to each student. She understands that every student learns differently and that the best approach depends on their personality, learning style, and goals. Whether it’s through practice problems, discussions, or visual methods like graphing and writing, Megan adapts her teaching to help each student succeed. She values getting to know her students so she can create an environment where they feel comfortable and motivated to learn.

Megan has extensive experience supporting students in STEM subjects. While earning her degrees in Mechanical Engineering at Mississippi State University, she tutored student-athletes in subjects like physics, thermodynamics, algebra, and trigonometry. She learned to adjust her approach for students with different backgrounds and levels of understanding. As a graduate teaching assistant, she also led classes and guided students through challenging aerospace structures problems, helping them strengthen both their technical and analytical skills.

Outside of academics, Megan has a wide range of interests that reflect her curiosity and love of learning. She enjoys reading and even spent a summer at Oxford University studying Shakespeare and C.S. Lewis. She’s also an avid outdoors enthusiast who loves hiking, hunting, fishing, and camping. When she’s not exploring nature, she enjoys baking and sewing in her free time. Megan’s balanced mix of technical expertise, creativity, and empathy makes her an exceptional and relatable tutor.
